Creative Workshops 2025
Our goal is to provide a wide range of creative workshops and classes throughout the year. If you are interested in tutoring a workshop, we’d love to hear from you.
Experienced arts tutors or teachers are invited to submit expressions of interest to run workshops in drawing, painting, printmaking, textiles, weaving, photography, ceramics, and jewellery on behalf of Campbelltown ArtHouse in 2025 at the Brookside Cellars Community Arts Centre.

Our weekly Art Exercise Club is the ideal place to begin..
Your tutor will deliver an introduction to different techniques with an emphasis on having fun.
You’ll go home with a finished, or near finished piece.

Join us for another 8-week in-depth series of Painting Workshops, with established artist and tutor, Kent McCormack. In a small group of a maximum of 10, benefit from Kent's one-to-one attention in a creative and friendly environment. And, the freedom to work at your own pace.Throughout the 8 weeks, Kent will engage you in thinking outside your comfort zone and exploring the wide world of art.

Watercolour & Mixed Media Summer Flowers
Friday 14 February 2025 | 1.30 - 4.30pm
Start or continue your watercolour and mixed media flower journey. Fitting for Valentine’s Day, at this workshop you’ll create charming floral art works featuring summer blooms such as hydrangeas, sunflowers, daisies and agapanthus Explore a variety of techniques, tailored to suit beginners and those with some experience. Real and photo references will be provided but feel free to bring along a favourite flower or image. All materials provided.Your tutor will demonstrate and guide, using a relaxed and inclusive approach.

Life Drawing
Third Friday of each month | 7.00 - 9.00pm
Life drawing is the drawing of the human form in various poses and levels of detail.It can range from highly detailed and anatomically proportional drawings to loose and expressive sketches that show the simple form, action and pose in a short amount of time.
Join our untutored Life Drawing sessions on the third Friday of each month from 7.00 – 9.00 pm.

Rock Art

Enjoy an absorbing and creative afternoonWith unlimited design possibilities, decorate tactile garden stones using inky pens and shiny paints. A little bit of quick drying glossy sealer and you will be delighted with the results! Plenty of examples and ideas will be available to inspire you. All materials provided.
Suitable for beginners and those with some arty, crafty or drawing experience. Your tutor Joy will demonstrate and guide, using a relaxed and inclusive approach.
Watercolour & Mixed Media: Feathered Friends

Let your creative urges take flight!Using watercolour, ink, pencil or pastel, birds provide the perfect inspiration. Their shapes, sizes, colours, postures and expressions can be a source of endless fascination. Participants have the opportunity to practice loose forms and more detailed examples. A wide variety of reference pictures will be available or feel free to bring along an image of your favourite feathered friend to star in your creation.
Ink & Watercolour Wash: Street Scenes

Enjoy an absorbing afternoon with ink and watercolour.
Combine inky techniques with easy watercolour washes to make charming creations that depict quaint and picturesque street settings. A variety of reference photos provided, or bring your own photo reference.Suitable for beginners and those with some arty experience.
